Sebego Lake is the deepest lake in Maine. Originally formed over 14,000 years ago by melting glaciers, Sebego Lake reached its current depth through the creation of the Eel Weir Dam in 1866. It is one of few water sources in the United States that requires no filtration – the surrounding forests form a magnificent natural water-cleaning system.
The Sebago Lake 3D nautical wood chart is made of Baltic Birch. This wood map displays the bathymetry of the lake in intricate detail. The depths of the water and details of the coast are expertly etched in the Baltic Birch and completed with engraved points of interest. The wood map is finished in a solid wood frame and arrives ready to hang.
