Our map of Glen Lake begins with a bathymetric chart of the water’s depth and precise coastline. An artist uses these measurements to laser-cut pieces of Baltic birch to the exact shape and size of the lake before gluing them together to create the one-of-a-kind 3D effect our maps provide. One water and points of interest details are added, the map is then fitted into a custom-sized wood frame and topped with a layer of ultra-transparent acrylic.
