Our Japan and Korea 3D wood map is expertly made using the measurements from a bathymetric map. The topographical lines of the countries and their surrounding bodies of water are laser cut into layers of Baltic birch, which are then glued together to form the dimension you see in our one-of-a-kind wood charts. The bottoms layers of water are hand-stained, and points of interest and other locations are etched into the map’s surface. A custom wood frame and acrylic cover complete the 3D wood map.
