Previously named Pine Lake, this beautiful travel destination was renamed in 1926 because, in addition to the harvesting of many of the lake’s pine trees, it shared its name with twenty-five other Michigan lakes. Although the lake is frozen for the winter months, ice gives way to endless summer fun for all who visit.
Our Lake Charlevoix lake art begins with a bathymetric chart detailing the shoreline and water’s depths. Next, a designer laser cuts pieces of Baltic birch, gluing them together to form the stunning dimension our maps are known for. The lake art’s water is then hand-stained, and points of interest are precisely etched into the map’s surface. Finally, each lake art map is finished with a custom solid wood frame and acrylic layer for vibrance and protection.
Hang this lake art in your home to bring back incredible memories of your trips to Lake Charlevoix.
